It's very important to us that you feel absolutely gorgeous when you slip on our garments. We understand that you need to try on a dress to feel if it's the right fit for you.


Please note that 100% silk is very delicate & must be handled with extra care when trying on.


To be eligible for a return & refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 


We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.


How to make a return

To start a return: request your return-form at and we will assist you with a smooth & fast return.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via email will not be accepted. 

Attach the form to the package as well so our warehouse knows what's up.

How long does it take ?

Once we've received your return item(s), we will process it within 14 days.
Make sure you keep your track and trace code when you return an item to us. This way we can check where the package is. Fumée is not responsible for lost return packages.


Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Email us at with your order number so we can determine the next course of action. 

Please let us know within 48 hours after receiving the items(s). Faulty items do not include those that have already been worn.


Costs of return

The shipping cost of returning item(s) to the Fumée warehouse for an exchange or refund, is not covered or reimbursed by us. However, if you request an exchange, we will arrange the shipping of the new item to you. We understand that some international postage can be costly, so we do not expect express shipping on returns. The 14 day returns period applies only to the time in which a return must first be requested.  

If you return an item and it gets lost, we are not responsible and we cannot refund your return item(s). 




The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.


Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.



Returned to sender / refused packages

Orders refused or deemed undeliverable will be returned to our warehouse. We will contact the customer via email before cancelling the order. Customers who still want to receive the package must pay for a new shipping label.

We reserve the right to extend the delivery time due to customs.


How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number by email for your order, please use this to monitor your shipment so you get it right away. If your package is returned to us we do not stand for the shipping cost to resend your items.


How much do I pay for shipping?

The price for shipping may vary depending on your address (country) and shipping option.Your shipping price and options will display in the checkout. 


What about customs?

All out international orders are shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid. Customs, duties and taxes are not included in our price or shipping costs. When placing an international order, you agree to pay any additional customs, duties or taxes. 


Any international shipping fees associated with returning items are the sole responsibility of the customer and we cannot refund these costs. Please mark your package as a return when sending back to us.
