Downtime Online: Things to do for you right now

Happy winter Solstice! It's the shortest day of the year on this side of the world. 

As allot of us are taking some time off during the Holidays I thought I'd share some of my favorite things to do for downtime:

Meditation, Movement & Practice

I meditate & ground every day. Grounding is an exercise where we let go of energy that is not ours and fully relax into our own. It is a wonderful exercise that can be done in 5 min or in a longer version of 30 min. My favorite teacher for this is Kathryn Schiff. She offers a great list of free meditations.

For movement my favorite lady is Melissa Wood Health, if you don't follow her on instagram already she is a goodie. Her quick & easy to do work-out's and her life as a mom of two while keeping health as a main priority is inspiring. I love her app with new work-outs every day.

Relax & Listen

I love to take a long bath with epsom salt, light some candles & listen to a good podcast. Some of my favorites are:

- The Authentic Sex Podcast by Juliet Allen

- Offline, The podcast by Alison Rice

- Unlocking Us by Brené Brown

- Super Soul by Oprah

- The Goop podcast

If you don't have a bath, I also love to just lay on the couch and listen to a podcast. It's nice to give your eyes a rest for once. Or I take a long walk while listening which is also very lovely. 

Couch time

A few of my favorite series on HBO or Ziggo right now:

- The Undoing

- Big Little Lies

- Sharp Object

- Euphoria
